How do I register to vote.

Illinois residents may register to vote in one of the following ways.

*Dates apply to registering for the June 28, 2022 primary.


Online by Sunday June 12, 2022 through the Illinois State Board of Elections website, which may be found HERE.


Paper/PDF - Must be postmarked by Tuesday May 31, 2022

Fill out the Illinois Voter Registration Application and follow the instructions, which may be found HERE.


In Person - by Tuesday May 31, 2022

Eligible suburban Cook County residents may register in person at the following locations

A Cook County Clerk Location. Click HERE to find the closet location.

A village, city, or township clerk. Click HERE to find your location.

An Illinois Secretary of State drivers license facility. Click HERE to find the closest location.


At the polls - You may register and vote at the polls!

Bring two acceptable forms of identification and you can register and vote at your local polling place on election day or at early voting locations.
